In Response To: Coast Spas (-)

We have had many problems with our Coast Spa. The jets immediately started popping out and the hydrolic system on the pop up speakers went. We've asked for the repair kit for the speakers but the local spa company who we purhased it through is no help whatsover.

The worse has been the pumps. We have lost our 3rd pump. Our system has two pumps, both of which went bad within the warranty period. Both were replaced - one of them was replaced twice! The most recent was replaced this past summer. The problem is that the this pump went bad within 60days after it was installed and the warranty on replacement pumps is only 30 days. It is now November and we still are not getting assistance, return calls from our local dealer. In addition we have e-mailed Coast Spas twice requesting their assistance and have not heard a thing.

We are extememely disapointed as we paid over $8,000 for this spa that was supposed to be one of "the best" and it's a lemon. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and am researching any other way I can speak out about my experience. I feel I've been taken advantage of as a consumer and the worst part is that this is not a $100 purchase. What am I supposed to do with a heap of junk that cost me $8,000 that is sitting in my yard?

Any info is welcome.
