Sunquest Monaco 2004

Same SunQuest concept in Denver, Colorado. Reps selling Florida built spas out of their homes at a reduced rate. STAY AWAY!! A completely inferior product on all counts. Our hot tub leaked from day one, constantly tripped the breaker and developed a crack in the shell within 6 months. The tub is not even locked into the cabinet - it just rests on it. The construction is laughable. The access panel was not adequate and ridiculously hard to get off. The cabinet was shoddy and all the panels did not line up properly. No drain valve was built in the tub so you had to have a submersible pump to drain it. The pipes were dripping in silicone and glue. Even the cover and the lifting mechanism were low, low quality. They have no proper equipment to move and work on tubs and no qualified techs. The local rep gives you three different answers that he makes up and guesses about how to fix problems. Took nearly a year of calls and letters and the BBB involvement as well as the local consumer protection group and the threat of small claims court to get us a partial refund and to get the crappy tub out of our yard. Go with a reputable dealer with a good history and warranty. I cannot stress this enough. You get what you pay for. We now have a Sundance Spa. Paid more but have a product that is solid and therapuetic easy to maintain and with a proper group of people to back up the warranty and service the tub. SunQuest in Denver also operates as Crystal Waters Spas, LLC. (FYI) |
