In Response To: LA Spas (-)

LA Spas pretty much suck. For those of you who are delerious with pride and happiness, its because you have not not owned an LA Spa long enough. Just wait! I have had nothing but problems with spa since that happy day when the fork-lift hoisted it on to my deck.

The problem is that they absolutely will not stand behind the components of their equipment. My most recent issue of a blown circuit board (the 4th one) prompted me to try to get some understanding from their customer service department. All I asked them to do was sell me the board at their cost since there is a long history of problems with this component. The response from their Director of Operations was essentially that "my LIMITED warranty" had expired; the manufacturer no longer made that board and I would have to retro-fit. No mention as to what I was supposed to "retro-fit" and no offer to assist me in obtaining this part. Not even an acknowledgement that it was their choice to use this inferior piece of equipment in the first place.

This company has no clue about customer service. If like me, your dealer goes out of business, you will find that someday you will need to deal directly with these jerks. I wish you luck. I caution you that if you buy an LA Spa you will spend tons of money to keep the water warm and circulating around your body.
