Decided on this spa for relaxation and husband's joint pains; it was actually a replacement for an older model we had prior to our move to the new house.

The spa exceeds expectations. Have owned it for slightly over a year. The jets are wonderfully placed for short and tall people. Just have to shift around to find the place that fits best. When we purchased the spa we added a cover lifter, ozonator, and a handrail for entry (can also be used as a towel bar). This handrail (mounted on the deck and a small plate fits under the base of the tub) has been a wonderful addition. Makes it easier and safer for us old farts to get into the tub. We also added a closed cell foam floating blanket recently and this seems to be worthwhile and definitely cuts down on water condensation on the inside of the cover.

I enjoy the jets and lounge best of all. So far I haven't found anything I do not like about it.

The only change I would make the next time around is the position of the cover lifter. The spa sits on a specially reinforced deck high off the ground. We placed the cover lifter on the side away from the view of the valley and facing lengthwise of the house....this positioning did not take into consideration the direction of the wind. In strong winds the cover will blow open. It has even tossed the large rocks from the cover over the deck to the ground (bombs away). So take into consideration the wind direction when placing the cover on the spa.

I guess the "waterfall" is not actually necessary, but I enjoy it anyway I just don't know exactly what the waterfall does.

We did have a problem with pump 1 soon after we bought it. The dealer, Leisure Tubs, Manassas, Virginia is just wonderful. The pump was replaced and the service was courteous, prompt and the problem was solved. The only other time that service was needed was when the electricity when out or browned out several times and confused the computer in the spa. Again the service was very efficient. The service person comes with the entire record on what had been done to the spa on the previous service which always is something I appreciate.

So would I hesitate buying another spa exactly like the one I have......not a second....as long as I have a dealer and service department like Leisure Tubs in Virginia. Bren
