Crown II / 2004

Took the plunge a few weeks back and purchased a Nordic Crown II spa. Had been looking at Softtubs, but these were cheaper, better made, more reliable, and had heater(softtubs heat with recirculation around the blower motor) and 220 capability. It's pretty much no frills, you've got hot water and jets. Bench style seating. I didn't care much for the spas with lounge seats and mega bells 'n whistles. Ran it on 110 for a week or so, which pretty much blew as it took too long to heat. Spent a little and ran 220 to it. Now it heats quick, stays hot, and allows me to have the heat and jets running full blast. Even bought an LED bulb to go color crazy in the spa at night. Really can't think of anything bad to say about the spa, though I am just starting to figure out how to manage treating the water (will be switching to Nature 2 from Brilliance on my next water change). For around $3k ($4k once you factor in the 220, steps, accessories and chemicals) you've got a pretty darn good spa.
