I just wanted to add a few comments to my "soak report" since it wasnt really meant to be a spa review. We have only owned it for 5 days, but we love it!

**Why did you decide to get a spa? We have wanted a spa for some years. We are 41yrs old and have children that are 16, 16, and 12. There are some aches and pains in that crowd, some stress, some signs of arthritis taking hold and my hub has some chronic back pain (but not debilitating, just irritating) I have trouble sleeping at night, tosser/turner. Thought we deserved to spoil ourselves and the kids were thrilled at the idea.

**Does your spa live up to all expectations? It surpasses our expectations! I wasnt thrilled with the air blower at wet test, I realize now that the showroom water may not have been right as it foamed excessively. I love that blower now, I like the sound effect, and I like the feel of those jets. The footjets are fabulous. I like the diverters being variable, not just on/off. I love that you can twist and adjust the strength of the jets. The vortex jets feel really good. The pumps are strong but there are 3 settings, so you can always make it feel just right. The whirlpool jets are very strong and they are among my fave settings. The swirling water is very relaxing. The LED lighting is an inexpensive ($100) option and its very nice. One comment tho, the red light looks icky in the water, reminds me of Jaws!

**How long have you owned your spa? It was delivered July 14, 2004...so 5 days as of this writing.

**What do you like best? The vortex jets, the whirlpool, the footjets. We like the temp of 96 best in the summer, its just warm and allows us to stay in comfortably for 1-2hrs. I love the Esscents by Leisure Time and Velvet Touch also smells nice and really does make you skin feel soft.

**Is there anything about your spa you don't like? So far, the only thing I dont like is the worry I have about water chemistry. Day 1 our water was perfect, Day 2 TA was only 40 so we added Alk Up and then pH went up and now we are chasing our tail trying to fix one then the other. Thats the only thing I dont like but I hope to work that out in the first month. We've since read that you need to let things settle after adding a fixing chem, and not stress over it too much.

**What might you change if you had to "do it all over? We would get a LED light at purchase, not 2 days later! Lifter is a must esp. in a tighter space, but you need to see how the spa sits in your location to best decide which lifter would be good.

**Are there any features you now feel aren't necessary? No!

**What do you get out of your spa? Extreme pleasure! Its nice to see the kids enjoy it so much. Makes my aches and pains disappear for awhile, in fact it makes all your stress disappear. Its romantic at night to soak with your SO. It feels refreshing. Its great to enjoy the outdoors more.
