Trident/2008 (I think)

In Response To: Dynasty Spas (-)

in short, this is the first time I've ever regretted a purchase. the tub has leaked from day 1, and we've had very spotty support from our dealer. Sure, we've had the service guy show up three times at our house now to fix something that's only 2 months old!! Once the leak above the electronics was "fixed", the pump broke - apparently had a crack in it since day 1, and has been leaking that long. Finally shredded the inside and stopped working. The pump just got replaced, the leak above the electronics was "fixed" again (though I can't really say how since all that was done was tightening of a clamp), and now the blower has gone. The frickin thing is 2 months old, and the dealer is attempting to make us feel good by saying at least we now have a brand new pump, and the leak has been fixed!!

we got all the bells and whistles on it, and on the rare day the tub is actually working, i.e. not blowing the GFCI or the pump, we enjoy spending time in it - at least we did. Kids are now afraid to go into the tub incase something really goes wrong. At least we have tested the GFCI (three times - unintentionally) and know it works. Good to see at least our electrician understands what quality and service are.

this is the worst purchase I've ever made and am now trying to get my money back. I don't know there's a good Dynasty model out there ... from what I've read here (and wish I'd been here before I bought), it doesn't seem worth getting a new tub or a different model. as another reviewer commented, stay away - don't get suckered in by the lipstick on this pig, as I was.
