Why did you decide to get a spa?:
For hydrotherapy and social gatherings.

Does your spa live up to all expectations?:
Not 100%. The outer edge of the spa is a little bit too high for my 5'9" frame so there's no place to extend my arms along the outer edge of the tub unless I use the cool down seat. So my arms are either in the water or behind my head which can get a bit tiring.

When it was delivered one on the headrest lights was "burnt". At least, that's what I assumed. But what it really turned out to be was a cut wire. The tech guy thinks it might have happened during shipping. Either way, one headrest doesn't light up. I'm still waiting to have it fixed. I've been advised that it's covered by the warranty, and it won't cost me anything.

How long have you owned your spa?:
3 weeks.

What accessories/options, beyond the "basic spa" does, your spa have?:
None.

What do you like best?:
The jets and the variety of massages you can get. The jets are really amazing. The tub has a bit of everything jet wise. No complaints there. The control panel looks modern and sharp, and is very easy to use. The basic cover lifter is a must have. I got mine with the tub. I can only assume they're always included.

Is there anything about your spa you don't like?:
The overall engineering of the spa is rather cheap. I've already snapped the bottom clip that's supposed to hold down the filter cover. The filter cover never stayed put anyway, and always floated upwards with even the slightest touch, so I don't suspect I'll fix that till next year. I'm actually thinking of adding some water proof tape of some sort to create "nubs" on the upper clips so that the lid "snaps" in place. That way I can ignore the bottom broken clip.

What might you change if you had to "do it all over"?:
I would wet test a few other types of tubs.

But the thing is, unless you've owned a tub for a little while it's really hard to have an idea of what you actually want.

I wet tested this tub in the store and everything was great. But it's only after I had it for about 2 weeks that I started saying "It sure would be great if it had this, or that..." So as good as a wet test is. It had a rather limited value for a first time buyer like me. Only now after 3 weeks of ownership would I really benefit from such a test. I guess I'll be ready for next time! : ) Also, I should have shopped a bit more. But after about 2 months of looking, reading, and hearing every possible sales pitch I just went with my gut and with what I was willing to pay.

I would have probably gone with a 4 series or a whole other brand because of the filter cover and the "no place to rest my arms" thing.. It's surprising that it made it into there final design given the floating issues with the filter cover. It's almost like it's broken from day one with no solution except some home remedy. It's very disappointing. The arm thing. Well, that's really my bad, but it wasn't obvious to me during to wet test. If you're 5'11" or taller you should be ok I think...

Is there anything you're sorry you left out?:
Not really.

Are there any features you now feel aren't necessary?:
No, I happen to like the waterfall! And the more lights the better! :)

Have you encountered any problems, and if so, how were they resolved?
Broken filter cover - No real fix as the cover floats everywhere anyway. I'll have to come up with a home brew fix for that.

Light in Headrest Burnt. Unresolved.

First fill had to be changed after 3 weeks (Did it last night) Something about factory leak testing leaving some 'muck' that kills the first fill quicker than normal. So I'm hoping things will work themselves out. I flushed the lines with a spa pipe-cleanser before draining it last night. I hope this works itself out.
