This all started in Jan 2007. I bought a spa from the home and garden show in schaumburg illinois. thinking I was dealing with a reputable company they decided to do something illegal. Its called bait and switch. I was told by the salesman it was a brand new tub. He was trying to get us to buy a floor model. I told him I didn't want a floor model I was paying a small fortune for a new tub. He gave me a price on the tub. Now due to weather the tub wasn't delivered until March 10 2007. These people from Coast to Coast hot tub delivered the tub to my house with my wife distracted by my almost 3 yr old daughter. When I got home I saw the drain valve broken and scratches on the diverter valve and on the shell. I called and complained and they sent a tech out. He buffed the top of the tub and replaced the drain valve. I was not happy. I looked at the tub the next day and found blisters in the shell and alot of other scratches. I called again and complained. I recieved a call from one of the staff. I told him I was not happy. He took the information down and I didn't back so I called again. I recieved a call from the tech he said to take pictures and e-mail them to him. I took 63 pictures of scratches, blisters and what looked like rot in the frame. He called me two days later and said he got the picture, and it looked like a forklift damage. I told him I sent 63 pictures he said to resend them. this was friday the 30 of March 2007. I called and left a message for someone to call me back on 4/01/07. When I recieved the call it was the owner Russ. He was not helpful. All he could say was you bought a floor model its in your contract. I told no the salesman told me it was a new tub. I didn't want a floor model. All he could say its in your contract. He sounded like a parrot. I was pissed. There were expletives thrown from both sides, and I hung up. Russ the owner decided to call back. He called me more expletives, unfortunatly I had the phone on speaker so my wife could hear. Russ decided to be classless and call me more expletives and my almost 3 yr old daughter heard this and she was saying those words for alittle while. He also said he's not going to fix my tub and good luck getting it fixed. So I am stuck with a tub that I haven't even hooked up yet, that I have never even used. This Russ person also made 1000 plus dollars on the brand new parts I paid for in the old tub they picked up.
